Kaisa Kortelainen

Kaisa Kortelainen (born 1992) is known as a bright and versatile musician. She has worked as the second solo flutist with the Radio Symphony Orchestra since 2018, and in 2022 she became one of the principal players with Avanti! In addition to her orchestral work, Kortelainen has performed a great deal of contemporary music, studied early music on period instruments, and planned and produced festivals and concerts. She currently serves as one of the artistic directors of Nurmes Summer Music in her hometown.
