Olivia Moss

British soprano Olivia Moss is based in Finland. Olivia’s recent roles include Oiwa in Muramatsu’s Yūrei: Ghost of the Ai Empire in Sweden (Operative Arts), Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte (Bergen National Opera Academy), Love Expert in Trbojevic’s The Art of Loving (Helsinki Chamber Choir) and Charlotte in Krenek’s Der Diktator (Tapiola Sinfonietta). Olivia sings in the Finnish National Opera extra chorus and the Helsinki Chamber Choir.

She has also performed with the Finnish Baroque Orchestra, as soloist in Bernstein’s Mass under Marin Alsop at the Royal Festival Hall, soloist with the Liverpool Mozart Orchestra in Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, in three concerts at Kaija Saariaho’s 70th birthday festival. Olivia is a Britten-Pears Young Artist 2026.

Olivia was awarded second prize in the Helsinki Lied Competition 2021 with pianist Kumi Shimozaki and was a finalist in the Boosey & Hawkes International Sing Finzi Competition 2021. She has also received the Martin Wegelius Foundation Award of Merit and an MES Artist Grant. Olivia received the Gus Christie Award 2018 from Glyndebourne.

Olivia completed her Master of Singing studies at the Sibelius Academy with Outi Kähkönen and Collin Hansen. Her studies at the Sibelius Academy were generously supported by the Selim Eskelin Foundation.
