Frida Andersson
Frida Andersson is a well-established Finland-Swedish singer/songwriter who grew up in Ekenäs in southern Finland. She has been living in Stockholm for about 16 years, where she has been signed to a record label, left it, and instead started her own company so that she can decide her own style. Frida has released two albums in English and four in her native Finnish Swedish. She has played extensively at song festivals in both Sweden and Finland and has previously been a guest artist on Bo Kaspers Orkester’s Nordic tour. Together with Bo Sundström, she has released three duets, “Paradiset”, “Drömlänges” and “Hörde en fågel”. Frida’s albums in Swedish are produced by Andreas Dahlbäck (Ulf Lundell, Anna Ternheim, etc.) and in 2013 she was awarded the Vega award by Radio Vega as female artist of the year. In recent years, she has released several singles, one of which, “Hela vägen till Tokyo” (All the Way to Tokyo), was performed live on TV4 Nyhetsmorgon, as was “Hörde en fågel” (Heard a Bird). During the pandemic, she collaborated with the late folk legend Mats Paulson and released “När sommaren är här” (When Summer is Here) and a new recording of “Visa vid vindens ängar” (Song by the Windy Meadows).
Frida’s latest singles are “Kom dagar kom år” and “Hörde en fågel”. A new single release is expected in spring 2026.
