Olga Heikkilä
The versatile lyrical Finnish soprano, Ms. Olga Heikkilä has graduated from Helsinki Conservatory (2008), Danish Royal Opera Academy (2013) and the Sibelius-Academy (2015). Since 2017 she works on her artistical doctoral thesis À tour de Pierrot lunaire at the Sibelius-Academy. She has appeared on opera stages in Helsinki, Copenhagen, Stuttgart, the Aix-en-Provence opera festival, Berlin State Opera and La Monnaie in Brussels, as well as Royal Opera House in London (2023). Ms. Olga Heikkilä is a prize winner of many prestigious prizes in international vocal competitions a.o. Special prize winner in the IVC ‘s-Hertogenbosch competition (2014) and in the Klaudia Taev competition in Estonia (2013). She regularly performs with European and Finnish chamber orchestras under conductors such as Michael Boder, Eva Ollikainen and Ingo Metzmacher. Ms. Heikkilä has been honored with several important grants from the Finnish Cultural Foundation, Alfred Cordelin, Jenny and Antti Wihuri and the Pro Musica foundations.
