Luke Terence Scott
Luke Terence Scott is a Scottish Baritone who studied for his Masters of Music in Opera at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the Royal Northern College of Music and from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a Master of Music in Performance.
Most recently, he debuted at the Savonlinna Opera Festival as Pâris in Roméo et Juliette alongside Lisette Oropesa. Luke Scott´s operatic roles include Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), Sid (Albert Herring) and David (L’amico Fritz), Ben (The Telephone), Harlekin (Ariadne auf Naxos), Frank-Fritz (Die tote Stadt), Demetrius (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Count Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Frank Trulove (The Rake’s Progress) and Nardo (La Finta Giardiniera). On the concert stage, Scott has performed Luke Terrence Scottas as soloist for Vantaan Viihdeorkesteri, Helsinki Chamber Orchestra, Jyväskylä Sinfonia, Sinfonia Lahti, Buxton International Festival and London Symphony Orchestra’s Community Choir and Pushkin House. He has been a finalist in the Havets Röst, Elizabeth Hardwood Prize, semi-finalist in the Vincerò World & Premiere Opera singing competition.
