Kristian Nyman

Musician, pianist and conductor Kristian Nyman studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. He has mainly been active with musicals at the Svenska teatern (Swedish Theater) since 2002 and Helsinki Municipal Theater since 2005, first working as rehearsal pianist and later as conductor. He had positions as assistant conductor at the Municipal Theater 2006-2009 and conductor 2009-2011 wherafter he switched to the Swedish Theater. His work includes working with musical, classical- jazz and popular music performances, as well as working as choir master. Kristian works as a teacher  at the Art University Theater Aacademy in Helsinki.
