ILOA String Quartet

ILOA String Quartet is a new generation string quartet founded in 2019. The musicians of the quartet are Iidamari Ahonen, Laura Kukkonen, Ada Koivukangas and Oona Koivukangas. The quartet performes regularly in Finland and abroad. ILOA-quartet has given recitals in festivals including Kauniainen Music festival 2021 and Klassinen Hietsu -concert series 2022. In 2020 they performed together with the New Helsinki String Quartet. In January 2023 the quartet participated in a masterclass with the violist of Artemis Quartet, Gregor Sigl, and performed in the Corporate Concert series in Berlin University of Art. The Quartet gets regurarly lessons from New Helsinki − Quartet’s violinist Petri Aarnio. The quartet has participated in masterclasses with musicians including Levon Chilingirian, Mark Gothoni, Hartmut Rohde, Marko Ylönen, Tuomas Lehto, Erkki Lahesmaa and Martti Rautio.
